Bathurst – Mrs. Blanche Duguay,
89, wife of the late Hector Duguay, formerly of Church St., Bathurst,
passed away Friday June 9, 2017 at the Chaleur Regional Hospital,
Bathurst.
Born in Bathurst, she was the only child of
the late John P. and Priscilla (Roy)
Melanson.
She is survived by four children:
Roger (Margaret “Margo”) and Wayne (Cindy) both of
Big River of Big River, Dianne Frenette (late Raymond) of Bathurst and
Shirley Anne Fox (Charles) of
Brampton.
Nine grandchildren and fifteen
great-grandchildren.
Daughter-in-law, Yvette Duguay of Big
River.
She was pre-deceased by an infant daughter,
Nicole and a son,
John.
There will be no visitation at the funeral
home. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday June 12,
2017 at 4 p.m. from the Sacred Heart Cathedral, Bathurst.
Arrangements are in the care of the Elhatton’s Funeral Home

Bathurst.
The family would like to thank the staff at
the Manoir Brise de l’Oasis for the care given to Blanche
during her stay and the Chaleur Regional Hospital Staff on
4th East. Donations in memory of
Blanche may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or a favorite
charity.
