Beverly Anne Sorenson - August 5

Beverly Anne Sorenson – August 5, 1937 – November 28, 2016

August 5, 1937 – November 28, 2016
It is with immense sadness, after a brief illness, that we announce the sudden passing of our mom, Beverly (Bev) Sorenson. Predeceased by her husband of 51 years, Bob (2011); brother, Dick (2007) and sister, Ruth (2005); she leaves to mourn her beloved daughters, Teresa Stewart (Terry Goldman), Janice (Ken Gordon) and Susan Sorenson (Russell Graham); seven grandchildren, Robert Sorenson, Jamie Mildenberger, Tory and Carly Stewart, Jacob, Lucas and Hannah Gordon; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many lifelong great friends, with special note to those belonging to her cherished “hen party”. Bev had a long successful and accomplished career at the Times-Colonist newspaper, a job she loved both for the work and for the friendships she made while working there. She also had an amazing sense of humour she managed to keep to the very end, a testament to her strong character. She touched many and will be missed deeply by all. With much gratitude we want to thank all the doctors and nurses that were a part of Mom’s care, she was forever thankful for all the amazing help and support. A service in honor of our Mom will be held at McCall Gardens on Monday the 5th of December at 2 pm, 4665 Falaise Drive.
