Beverly Ann
Steeves, 72, of Moncton, with her loving family at her side, passed
away peacefully at The Moncton Hospital on Saturday, January 28, 2017,
after a brief illness.
Born in
Moncton, Bev was a loving Wife, Mom, Nannie, Sister and Friend to all
that knew her. She was a member of Cherryfield Baptist Church. She
thoroughly enjoyed spending her summers at the trailer beach which was
her happy place at Sandy Beach.
Bev was
the definition of love and family, she devoted her time to Gary, The
Girls and her Grandchildren.
She also
enjoyed a good phone call, cup a tea, a visit and socializing with her
friends.
Bev will be
deeply and sadly missed by her loving husband of over 50
years’, Gary Steeves of Moncton; her cherished daughters,
Krista MacEachern (Ian) of Rice Point, PEI, Wendy Steeves (Larry
Beaulieu) of Moncton, Trudy Moase (Trevor) of Kensington, PEI and
Sandra Steeves of Moncton; grandchildren, Sarah, Jacob, Haley, Dylan,
Brandan, Megan, Conner and Isabelle; mother in law, Evelyn Steeves of
Moncton; special cousins, Kim Robinson and Karlene Milson; many
nieces, nephews and extended family members.
Bev was
predeceased by her Mom and Dad, Jack and Addie Nichol; her parents,
Doug and Bea Bishop; grandchildren, Emma Grace, Jordan Riley and Jill;
brother, Wayne Bishop and father in law, Alden
Steeves.
Visitation
will be held at Fergusons Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton
(858-1995) on Tuesday from 6:00 to 9:00 pm.
A
service to celebrate and honor Bev’s life will be held at
Fergusons Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, February 1, 2017 at 2:00
pm with Rev. Colin Cook officiating.
Reception to be held following the service in the
Funeral Home Reception Centre.
Interment to be held at Elmwood Cemetery, in the
spring.
In
Bev’s memory, donations can be made to The Friends of the
Moncton Hospital or Sunny Brae Baptist Church Building Fund.
