Heiser, Beverley Joan Heiser, age 66, of Swift Current passed away July 28, 2017 at 7:50 am at Cypress House. The Funeral Service was held at 11:00 AM Thursday, August 3, 2017 from the First United Church with Reverend Annette Taylor officiating. The Life Tribute was presented by Cynthia Phillip, Marion Wiebe and Fauna Carleton. The pallbearers were he nieces and nephews; Tori Devin Finlay, Kelli Ray Finlay, Amy Lacina, Niki Myers Rhett Warrener and Trevor Warrener. The Interment Service took place at the Cadillac Community Cemetery. Beverley is survived by her children Michelle (Curtis) Gursky and their children Grayson and Kate; Marcia (Dan) McIvor and their children Ava and Marck; Blaine (Kelly) Heiser and their children Abby and Cole; brothers and sister; Douglas (Luann) Warrener and their children Trevor, Rhett and Dana; Stuart (Marion) Warrener and their children Amy and Niki; Bernice (Darrol) Finlay and their children Tori and Kelli. She was predeceased by her parents William and Gladys (nee: Bilboe) Warrener. Beverley was born in Calgary, AB on June 1, 1951. She attended school in Ponteix and then the University of Saskatchewan. She taught for a while in Mankota, was a Special Care Aide in Davidson for 15 years and finally a Social Worker at the Palliser Regional Care Centre for 18 years. Beverley was a member of Alcoholics Anonymous, the Kinette Club and coached softball and volleyball. In her spare time, she enjoyed gardening, reading, watching sports, especially the Blue Jays, going on drives to look at the crops and special visits with her children and grandchildren. Bev had a very special gift of being able to advocate for those in need and the people she loved. Some of her fondest memories were of watching her kids play sports, fishing with her grandchildren and watching them all play together. In her memory, memorial donation may be made to the Saskatchewan Cancer Agency or the Cadillac Community Hall. Warren’s Funeral Home in care of arrangements.
