Obituary for Betty Johnson
Died peacefully at Watford Quality Care on Monday, June 12, 2017. BETTY JOHNSON (nee Mitchell), formerly of Petrolia, was in her 88th year. Betty was the wife of the Earl Johnson (2008). Betty will be missed by her children Hope Springer and Jim West of Wingham, Rick Johnson of Brampton, Larry and Dianne Johnson of Cornwall, Tim Johnson of Mississauga, Jamie and Aggie Johnson of Georgetown. She was a loved grandmother to ten grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her son-in-law Dave Springer (2010), a granddaughter Rayanne (2001) and a great granddaughter Alexis. Betty is the daughter of the late Andrew and Lillian Mitchell, a sister to the late Wilbert (Shirley) Mitchell (2016), Jim (the late Sonja) Mitchell, Lil Hoskins, Marie (the late Don) DeKeyser, Reta (the late Jack) McLean, Donna (the late Cliff) Oliver, and Doris (Ed) Storey. She will also be missed by her sister-in-law Marion (Joe) Allison. A celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 24, 2017 at 12:30 pm from the Enniskillen Community Centre, 3068 Main St., Oil City.
