Betty Joan Wallace
1936-2017
Betty Joan Wallace passed away at the Victoria General
Hospital in Halifax, Nova Scotia on January 2, 2017. Born in Moncton,
New Brunswick on March 5, 1936, daughter of Fielding (Hoppy) and Edith
(Lutes) Crandall.
Betty loved her gardening. You could always find her in the
back yard pruning, planting, and weeding with her four-legged
companion Mac by her side.
Betty will be deeply missed by her daughter, Linda (Stephen)
Harding; her brother, Don (Esther); her grandsons: Christopher and
Shawn; and her great-grandchildren: Lily and Kaleb. Betty was
predeceased by her two brothers: Jack and Roy; and her sister,
Ruth.
Arrangements are under the care of
Brenan’s Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint
John (634-7424). By Betty’s request, there
will be no visitation. A funeral service will be held on Friday,
January 6, 2017 at 12 noon from Brenan’s Funeral Home
Chapel. Interment will follow in Ocean View Memorial Gardens.
Donations in memory of Betty may be made to the Kidney
Foundation.
