Eedy
It is with great sadness and many wonderful memories that we announce the passing of Bessie Eedy, peacefully in her sleep on December 20, 2017 at the age of 93. She was the beloved wife and best friend of Laverne (2015). She was the dearly loved mother and mother-in-law of Sherry and Bob Crawford of Dundas, Ontario and Bobbie and Jim Brooke of London, Ontario. She was the much loved grandma of Cale (Jeanna), Meaghan and Jordan (Gabrielle) Brooke and Jesse Crawford; “Babka” to Shea and Sydney Brooke. She will be missed by her surviving brother Rick (Penny) Kovachik and sister Millie Smale. She was predeceased by her mother and father Wilhemenia and Andy Kovachik of Wyoming, Ontario; Sisters Anne Park and Pauline Paterson. The family offers special thanks to the third floor staff at Extendicare, London, Ontario. For the past two years, their dedication and care ensured that mom was happy and comfortable. As per Bessie’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, April 12, 2018 at Forest Lawn Cemetery, 1997 Dundas Street E. London.
