On May 9, 2017, Bert Beishuizen passed away after a courageous battle with cancer at the age of 69 years.
He will be lovingly remembered and missed by his wife Claudette and their two children, Dennis (Tara) Beishuizen and Michelle (Robbie) Valpreda; four grandchildren Daniel and Lauren Beishuizen, Grace and Henry Valpreda. Bert leaves behind his two brothers Carl (deceased) (Valerie), and John (Jean) Beishuizen. Sister in law Lili Gauthier. Brother in law Gaitan Gauthier. He leaves behind his nieces and nephews and friends from around the world including his colleagues from BMO Bank of Montreal.
The family would like to thank all the staff from Capital Care Norwood (Palliative) and the Cross Cancer Institute (Dr.K Tankel and June) (Dr.Price-Hiller) and Dr. J Voldeng.
A celebration of his life will occur on Friday, May 19, 2017 at 2pm at the Glenwood Funeral Home, 52356 Range Road 232, Sherwood Park, AB (across from Salisbury Greenhouse) followed by a reception.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Capital Care Norwood (Palliative) or the Cross Cancer Institute.
