Bernice Myrtle Lamb (nee Hall) – May 31, 2017

Obituary for Bernice Myrtle Lamb (nee Hall)
LAMB, Bernice Myrtle (nee Hall)
Bernice Lamb, 87, went home on May 31, 2017.
She is predeceased by her husband Brooks Lamb, sister Pauline Beck and two sons Ken and Russ. She is loved by many and survived by her three children, Freeman (Jo Ann), Lonnie (Joyce), Lorri (Michael) and daughter-in-law Diana; her sister Brenda Norgard (Bob) nine grandchildren, Ashley (Brent), Matthew (Jen), Tim (Jess), Dillon (Chiaki), Clayton (Angela), Becki, Masen (Leah), Russell and Collin; and her seven great-grandchildren, Momoko, Lynne, Anna, Hawthorne, Wolfrum, Llewelyn and Frances as well as many loved nieces and nephews.
Bernice started her life on the farm; doing chores before school, riding a horse two miles to school and living the pioneer life. Bernice was known for her kindness and her natural ability to connect and support others in need. She loved her family more than anything, she loved painting, giving presents, laughing, beating you at crib, getting her hair done, dancing, flowers, creatures and talking on the phone. She was a force. We will miss her. The family wishes to express their deepest appreciation to the staff at the Pines Special Care Home and The Garden View Care Centre in Kimberley, BC.
The time and place for Bernice’s Celebration of Life is not yet determined. If making a donation in Bernice’s memory is a comfort to you, please make a donation to a charity that speaks to your heart or the Kimberley Special Care Home, 372 – 108th Avenue, Kimberley, BC, V1A 1C6.
Arrangements entrusted to McPherson Funeral Service.
