Bernard Tramble
1925-2016
It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce
the passing of Bernard Tramble, age 91. He passed away
peacefully at the RK MacDonald Guest House on December 14,
2016. Bernie was the son of the late Walter and Annie
Tramble of Tracadie, NS. He is predeceased by his daughter
Mary and by three brothers James, Leo and Hubert and two sisters Alice
and Rita. He is survived by his brother Purcell and sisters
Barb and Sister Claire, his daughter Debbie (Paul) and two sons Reg
(Angie) and Walter (Lynn) and grandchildren, Hunter, Max, Simone,
Victoria, Colton and Brooklyn. He is also survived by Penny
(Bill) who he was married to for many years and several nieces and
nephews.
Bernie was well loved by all who met him. He had a
great passion for cribbage and bowling and was an active member of
Club 60. He worked at Antigonish Wholesalers for 25
years. Bernie loved reading, long walks, the outdoors as
well as watching baseball and hockey Most of all he loved
his family. Some of his favorite moments were spent eating
lobster with his children and grandchildren. He loved to
laugh and reminisce about old times.
Many thanks to the staff and nurses at the RK MacDonald Guest
House for their compassionate care.
Visitation will be 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm on Saturday December
17th, 2016 at MacIsaac Funeral Home at 61
Pleasant Street in Antigonish Nova Scotia. Funeral Services
will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, December
19th at St. Ninian’s Cathedral.
Burial in the parish cemetery. Family flowers only.
Donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association or
Alzheimer’s Society of Canada.
Please note, there will be NO visitation on Sunday
