Emond, Bernard Gérard
Passed away at his home in North Bay on Friday, May 12, 2017, he was in his 96th year. Beloved husband of Colette (née Morel). Cherished father of 11 children: Jacques (Huguette), Claude (Frances), Louise (Bill), Énide, Robert (Carolyn), Marc (Anne-Marie), Daniel, Michèle (David), Madeleine, Adèle (Roger) and Pierre (Katherine). Proud grandfather of 13 grandchildren: Louis -Gabriel (Madison), Marie-Claire (Guillaume), Paul, François (Joelle), Renée (Matt), David, Natalie, Alexandre, Patrick, Daniel, Josée (Julian), Louis-Philippe (Michelle), Dominique and 7 great-grandchildren: Samuel, Jasmine, Léonard, Gabriel, Priscilla, Illyssa and Joel. Bernard will be sadly missed by his siblings Gerald Emond, Lauretta Emond and many nieces, nephews and extended family. Respecting Bernard’s wishes, there will be no visitation; there will be a Memorial service held at St. Anne’s Catholic Church in Mattawa on Friday, May 26, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. Burial will take place at St. Anne’s Cemetery following the service.
