Vautour, Bernadette (Savoie) – It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Marie Bernadette Vautour which occurred on Sunday February 19, 2017 at Lincourt Manor, St. Stephen, NB. Born April 18, 1922 she was the daughter of the late Michel and Odelle (McGraw) Savoie. Bernadette will be forever loved and remembered by sons Leonard Vautour of Acadiaville, NB, Fred (Lima) Vautour of Shediac, NB, Michael (Janice) Vautour of Sussex, NB, Ronald Vautour of Saint John, NB; daughters Ann Marie (Guy) White of St. Stephen, NB, Bernice (Ken) Allaby of Saint John, NB, Susan (Chuck) Wilkins of Musquash, NB; sister Clarisse Kenny of St. Rose, NB; 17 grandchildren; several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Besides her parents Bernadette was predeceased by husband Auguste Vautour, brothers Edouard, Aurele, Stanley, Marcel; Sisters Elizabeth, Sophie, Sara, Leontine.
Resting at Castle Funeral Home, 309 Lancaster Ave, Saint John (634-1701). Visitation will be held on Wednesday February 22, 2017 from 3:00-8:00pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church on Thursday February 23, 2017 at 12:00noon. Donations in Bernadette’s memory can be made to Lincourt Manor, St. Stephen, NB or the Alzheimer’s Association.
