1936-2016
Bennie K Weir, 80, of Turtle Creek, NB; passed away
after a courageous and lengthy illness at The Moncton Hospital, on
Saturday, December 31, 2016.
Born in Middlesex, he was the son of the late John and Hattie
Weir. Bennie was a farmer, lumberman and construction worker. He loved
his horses and dogs and liked watching western movies. He enjoyed
spending time with his family especially with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife Vivian (Fearon);
daughters Cheryl Pooley (Robin), Linda Bishop (Gary), Kelly and Sheila
(Perry); sons Brian (Debra), Lindsay (Betty) and Kevin (Cathy); sister
Elenor MacDonald (the late Ralph); brother Jack (Ruth); nineteen
grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; as well several nieces
and nephews.
Besides his parents he was predeceased by son
Danny, sisters Hilda, Charlotte, Eva and Audrey; brothers Clarence,
Guy, Ray, Howard and Eric.
Resting at Tuttle
Brothers & Riverview Funeral Home, 214 Pine Glen Rd. Riverview
with visitation on Wednesday, January 4, 2017 from 1:15pm to
2:00pm.
The Funeral service will be held at
Tuttle Brothers & Riverview Funeral Home Memorial Chapel on
Wednesday, January 4, 2017 at 2:00 pm with Pastor Rodney
Blyth officiating.
Interment will be in
Alderwood Cemetery, Riverview, NB
Donations in
Bennie’s memory made to the Friends of the Moncton Hospital Foundation
would be appreciated.
