Beatrice Golbeck – 2016

Golbeck, Beatrice:
Passed away in her 91st year at Innisfree Hospice, Kitchener, on December 7, 2016.
The daughter of Henry Voll and the former Louisa Hahn. She was born in Linwood, Ontario.
Beatrice is lovingly remembered by her three children, Patricia Parsons (Robert), Dianne Wittig (Frank) and Terry Golbeck (Shelley). Dear grandmother of Christina Butt (Jeff), Jonathan Oswald (Anne-Marie), Tobias Wittig (Christine), Richelle Pearce (Jackson), Alexis Roseborough (Cam), Taralyn Golbeck, Karen Reiner and Kris Parsons. Great grandmother of Abby and Jillian Butt, Ava Oswald and Jaimen Allison, Christopher and Alianna Wittig, Cole Roseborough, Penelope Pearce, Kayla, Kyle and Cameron Reiner. Great great grandmother of Aria,Liam and Paisley Reiner.
Predeceased by her husband, Laverne Golbeck, friend Earl Trutter, brother Melvin Voll, and sisters, Irene Hertel and Mabel Masyk.
Beatrice was employed by Mutual Life (Sunlife) where she worked in their kitchen/cafeteria. In 2011 she moved from her Franklin St. home of 56 years to an apartment on the Sunnyside Complex. Here she had many friends and enjoyed all the activities and amenities.
Relatives and friends will be received at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467, on Sunday from 1-4 p.m. and again on Monday, December 12, 2016 from 10-10:45 a.m., with the funeral service to follow at 11 a.m. in the Funeral Home Chapel. Refreshments to follow in the funeral home. Private family interment at Woodland Cemetery.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the K-W Senior Day Program or Innisfree Hospice would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
