Beatrice Ogier (nee Galusha) resident of Rainycrest, Fort Frances Ontario passed away peacefully March 30, 2017 at the age of 68, with family at her side.
Beatrice is survived by her children Penny of Thunder Bay Ont., Percy and Denise of Fort Frances Ont., Zandra and Anne of Manitoba. Her grandchildren Christopher, Jessica, Dalton and Sarah of Thunder Bay Ont., and Elton, Sandy, Evan, Tara, Cody and Olivia of Manitoba, as well as, numerous nieces and nephews. Also surviving are sisters Mary Côte (Jerry), Irene Orr (Blayne), Bonnie Gouliquer (Ken), and brother John (Cathy).
She was predeceased by her parents Elroy and Ida (nee Irvine), brother Ira and sister Heather.
Beatrice was born on May 19, 1948. She lived all of her life in the Rainy River District. She enjoyed crafts, mostly crocheting blankets for family as well as plastic canvass; making doll houses and furniture for the younger generations. The most important thing to Beatrice were the visits with family.
A graveside service for family and friends is planned for a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s society- Kenora; Rainy River District.
