Obituary for Barbara Simmonds
SIMMONDS, Barbara (nee Nunn)- Passed away peacefully at the Woodstock Hospital on Saturday, December 16th, 2017 in her 72nd year. beloved wife of Robert “Les” Simmonds. Loving mother of Karen (Craig) Fry, Rob (Angelia) Simmonds, Sandra (Lee Baker) Simmonds, and William (Cindy Wenbourne) Simmonds. Cherished grandmother of Jocelyn (Matt) Welsh, Alex Simmonds, Logan Simmonds, Emily Fry, Trent Simmonds, Rachel Fry, and Reid Simmonds. Proud great grandmother of Savannah and Natalie Welsh. Dear sister to Sandra (Arnold) Graves and David Nunn. Barbara will be lovingly remembered by her niece Debora (Joe) Woytta and her grand nieces Cathy (Jay) Quinn, Paige, and Joanka, and Cathy’s sons Colin and Jack. Predeceased by her parents William and Edith Nunn, and her sister-in-law Cathy Nunn. Cremation has taken place and the inurnment will take place in the spring.
