Barbara Jean MacLean – 1937-2017

The death occurred at Prince County Hospital, Summerside on
Thursday, September 7 2017 of Barbara Jean MacLean of Glenwood, aged
80 years beloved wife of the late Arnett MacLean . Born on August 31,
1937 in Dunblane, daughter of the late Cecil and Gladys (MacIsaac)
Gorrill.
Loving mother to Jeanne (Robert) Lewis, Knutsford; Lorne
(Barb) MacLean, Summerside; Alan (Angela) MacLean, Red Deer, AB;
Rodney (Florrie) MacLean, Charlottetown; Kathryn (David) Rayner,
Stratford and Philip (Natalie) MacLean, Summerside.
Cherished Grammie to Sonya (Sandy) McGrath, Matthew (Melissa)
Kanhai, Tiffany (Aaron) Barnett, Ashley (Jeremie) Vaillant, Andrew,
Ryan (Carley Nielsen), Kendra (Daryl Parker) MacLean, Karrie Anne
(David) Thorne, Kristina (Adam) O’Donnell, Mitch (Zila)
Rayner, Julie Ann (Brandon) Hughes, Evan Rayner (Kayla DeLorey), Will,
Lauren and Isaac MacLean. Great Grammy to Jaxon, Alyvia, Liham, Meea,
Rachel, Kinley, Dawson, Quinn, Zoe and Aaron.
Barbara is also survived by her brother Edward (Leita)
Gorrill, Dunblane, sister in law Wanda Arbing, Woodstock and, sister
in law Marion MacLean, Norton, Mass.
Barbara was predeceased by her parents and husband Arnett
(2015), brother in law Leith Arbing and Ralph (Helen)
MacLean
Resting at Ferguson Funeral Chapel, O’Leary with
visiting hours on Sunday, from 2-4 & 6-8pm . Funeral will be
held on Monday at 4:00 pm in the chapel. Interment to follow in Mount
Royal People’s Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers in memory of Barbara, memorials to Mount
Royal People’s Cemetery, O’Leary Church Of The
Nazarene (Youth Ministry) or charity of your choice would be
appreciated.
