Obituary
Barbara Hunter (Gran), born in Edmonton, April 26, 1925, died on March 13, 2017 and will be lovingly remembered by her family.
Barbara was predeceased by her husband Robert (Bob) in 2009. Left to cherish her memory are daughter Leigh (Doug) Racine and their son Rod (Hina); son Brian (Peggy Morton) and their son Kevan (Sing Ng); son Duke (Gail Kudelik) and their children Carmanah and Sandon will all treasure their time and memories of, a very loving and giving Gran. Also numerous nieces and nephews will cherish their memories.
There will be an informal Celebration of her life for friends and family at her last home, Riverbend Lifestyle Options, 200 Falconer Court (in the Great Room), on Saturday March 25 at 3:00 p.m.
Thanks to the staff at Grey Nuns Hospital (Unit 52) in Edmonton for the care she received in her last two months. In lieu of flowers, please consider a small donation to your own favorite charity.
Barbara Jean (the Lakeside Queen) will now spend her summers at Sechelt enjoying the view, forever after.
