Belliveau, Barbara Bernice- 82, Shelburne, passed away Thursday, November 16, 2017 after a brief battle with cancer. Born in River Hebert the daughter of the late Mary and Herman Wolfe, where she attended River Hebert Rural High School and met her husband Reginald Belliveau. In her younger years Barb liked to sew, quilt, garden, bowl and cook. She loved to feed people whether they were hungry or not. She was an active member of Trinity United Church and Unit F of the UCW. She was also a member of the Auxillary of the Roseway Hospital. Barb is survived by her daughter, Karen ( Donnie) Acker; furry four-legged granddaughter, Tia; sister, Beth, Halifax; step-granddaughter Angela (Jean) Dube, Ontario; step-great grandchildren, Lucas and Rachel Dube. She dearly loved her chosen grandsons, John-Gavin Dunphy (Serah), Texas; Kevin (Alanna), Saint John. She will be missed by her many nieces and nephews who she loved keeping in touch with. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband, Reg, son, Bill, brothers, Karl and Worrell. Cremation has taken place under the direction of H.M. Huskilson’s Funeral Home, Shelburne. No visitation by request. Family flowers only. A memorial service will take place on Monday, November 20 at 11a.m. in Trinity United Church, Shelburne with Rev. Joanne McFadden officiating. Burial in Pine Grove Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Trinity United Church or Palliative Care, Roseway Hospital. Heartfelt thanks to Dr. Keeler and Ruth Waters, and nurses and staff at Roseway Hospital for their care and compassion, especially Diane, June and Tracey.
