Aurore M. Childs
Aurore M. Childs, 81, of Villa du Repos and formerly of
Killam Dr., Moncton, passed away peacefully at her residence on
Friday, January 13, 2017.
Born in Rogersville, she was the daughter of the late Pierre
and Ida (Gould) Hebert. Aurore was a loving wife, mother, grandmother,
great grandmother, sister and aunt. She attended
Notre-Dame-de-Grâce Roman Catholic Church.
Aurore will be sadly missed by her sons, Peter Childs of
Moncton and George Childs (Bonnie) of Simcoe, ON; grandchildren,
Tammy, Freddie, Jessica, Tracy, Guillaume, Charles,
Philippe, Frances and Jordan; six great grandchildren;
sisters, Lynn Gallant of Kitchener, ON, Angie Bastrache
(Andy), of Moncton and Ida Roy of Rogersville; brothers, Phil Hebert
(Freda) of Scotch Settlement, Roger Hebert (Betty) of Noinville and
Lionel Hebert (Beatrice) of Dieppe; several nieces, nephews and
extended family members.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her
husband, William A. Childs and daughter, Jean Elizabeth Hudson;
grandson, Tommy Hudson; sisters, Doris Belliveau, Celia Hebert, Zelda
Lirette, Lillian Crossman, Claudette Knaus.
Visitation at Fergusons Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road,
Moncton (858-1995) on Monday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 pm. A
Service to celebrate and honor Aurore’s life will be held at
Fergusons Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, January 17, 2017 at 10:30
am, with Rev. Jean-Guy Dallaire officiating. Reception in
the Funeral Home Reception Centre following the service. Interment
will be held at Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery, Dieppe, in the spring.
