The family announces with great sorrow his passing, Monday, December 18, 2017 at the age of 99 years. Husband of the late Rita (née Harrisson) Henri (2004). Son of the late David and the late Josephine (née Pharand). Loving father of Marcel (Linda) Henri of Levack, Laurent (Gisèle) of Azilda, Paul-Émile (Elva) of Azilda, Irène Henri of Montreal, Juliette Gladu (Réjean Pilon) of Levack, Louise Marcotte (Denis) of Montreal, Gisèle Henri of Sudbury, Denise Henri (late Gilles Gervais) of Sudbury and Yvon (Nicole) of Azilda. Predeceased by his son Rémi (1955). Dear brother of Gertrude Fredette (Gaston Charbonneau) of Hanmer, and Carmen Goulet (Noël) of Sudbury. Predeceased by his siblings William, Roger, Armand, Gérard, Marcellin, Jeanne-d’Arc Lavallée (late Adrien) and Rita Robillard (Gaston Paquette) of Sudbury. Sadly missed by his 20 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. Retired from INCO for over 36 years, Aurèle was a W.W.II Veteran, loved playing cards and had a passion for baking. The family would like to thank the P.S.W and the staff of the 4th floor North at Health Sciences North for their excellent service during dad’s stay. The family will receive relatives and friends at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 4691 R.R. 15, Chelmsford, Thursday December 21, 2017 from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 22, 2017 at 11:30a.m. in the funeral home Chapel, Chelmsford. Donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation can be made by cheque or online at www.cooperativefuneralhome.ca.
