Audrey Mildred Collins, age 81, of Windsor, passed away on Sunday, November 19, 2017, at the Q.E. II, V.G. Site, Palliative Care, Halifax.
Born on May 26, 1936, in Windsor, Nova Scotia, she was the daughter of the late Arnold Collins and Mildred (Wile) McCulloch.
Audrey is survived by her daughter, Sheila Foley, Lower Sackville and Sheila’s son, Raymond and his daughter, Brooke and grandsons, Kalan and Logan, and great grandson Latrell ; son, Glynn (Camille) Edwards, Seattle, Washington, USA and his 3 children, Courtlyn, Callie and Chase; also surviving are sisters, Joyce, Lorraine, Juanita, Judith, Lynn, Shelley and Kim; brothers, Sterling “Billie”, LeRoy, Roddy, Curtis, and Richard. She was also survived by her chosen family, Ethel Chisholm, Heather Williams and Brenda Radzijewski.
Besides her parents, Audrey was predeceased by her siblings, Doris Peach, Barbara Sawler, and Stephen McCulloch.
Visitation will be held, 7-9 p.m. Thursday, November 23, 2917, in Lindsay’s Windsor Funeral Home, 194 King Street, P.O. Box 2218, Windsor, B0N 2T0.
Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, November 24, 2017, in Lindsay’s Windsor Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Garnet Parker officiating. Interment will be held in Maplewood Cemetery, Windsor.
Donations in memory of Audrey may be made to a charity of your choice.
A very special thanks is extended to the Infirmary Emergency Department and the V.G. Palliative care staff for their compassionate care.
