1926-2017
Audrey Hurd of Riverview passed
away at The Moncton Hospital on Thursday April 13, 2017. Born in
Timmins, ON, she was the daughter of the late Adrian and Lillian
(Molloy) Sauvé. She was an active and long-time member of
The Riverview Baptist Church.
She will be dearly missed by her
daughter, Elaine (Michael) Steeves of Hillsborough; sons; Terry
(Sharon) and Jeff (Wendy) both of Moncton, sisters; Joyce Cross of
Cambridge, ON and Elaine (Joe) Geleziusnas of Toronto, ON, brothers;
Carl (Josephine) and Leo both of Ontario, 11
grandchildren; Jason (Laura) Hurd, Jonathan
(Laurie) Hurd, Julie (Rob) McDowell, Angela (David) Conrad, Donald
(Krystal) McClure, Colin (Shannon) McClure, Giulio Hurd, Gianna Hurd,
Gessie (Brittany) Hurd, Christina (Darryl) Woodford and Jason Morley,
21 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Besides her
parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Burt in 1991, a grand
daughter, Amy Cosman and her sister, Helen Burns.
The family will be receiving
friends and relatives at Cobb’s Funeral Home and Cremation
Center, 330 Whitepine Rd. Riverview (869-2007) on Monday 2-4 and
6:30-8:30 PM. A service celebrating Audrey’s life will take
place at Cobb’s Funeral Home Memorial Chapel on Tuesday,
April 18, 2017 at 1:00 PM with Rev. Jonathan Gorham officiating, with
a reception to follow at The Riverview Baptist Church Hall. The
interment will take place in Elmwood Cemetery at a later date.
Donations made to The Friends of The Moncton Hospital Foundation or
the memorial of the donor’s choice would be greatly
appreciated by the family. Online condolences may be expressed at
