Audrey Ann GALLOWAY – January 27, 1943 – July 2, 2017

Audrey was born to Annie and Jimmy Turner of Rossland, BC. She leaves two sisters and one brother. Audrey was predeceased by her father in 1972, her mother in 2017, and her son in 2016.
Audrey married Gordon Galloway from Fruitvale, BC on September 1, 1962. They moved to Elkford, BC shortly after Gordon finished his apprenticeship from Cominco Trail to work at the Fording River mine. She worked at the mine in several different positions over the years.
Audrey loved sports, basketball… Read More » in high school, driving a race car, mixed marshal arts, and played 1st base for Sneakies Old Timers slow pitch softball team. Gordon and Audrey rode snowmobiles for years. If you saw an ATV coming down the trail, Audrey was probably on the seat behind Gordon. They owned the Lamplighter Pub in Elkford for a short time.
Audrey suffered from Alzheimer’s disease the last several years. She will be missed by many. No services at this time, but a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
