Arthur Rhéaume – 2017

RHÉAUME, Arthur Louis – Passed peacefully away at Pleasantview Towers on Tuesday, September 5, 2017, after a one last kiss from his devoted wife Audrey, Arthur Rhéaume, age 87 years. Predeceased by his parents, Hilaire and Marie-Ange Rhéaume (Quebec); son, Randolph Carl Best (2001); brothers: Hilaire Rhéaume (Alexandrine), Albert Rhéaume, Jean-Charles Rhéaume (Jacqueline), Claude Rhéaume; and his sister: Françoise Rhéaume (Roméo Trudel). Leaving to mourn with precious memories, his loving wife and best friend of 52 years, Audrey Florence Rhéaume (nee Whitten); his daughter, Micheline Lush (Rick); step-children: Garry Best, Janis McDonald, Edward Best (Virginia), Wayne Best (Lynne) and Richard Best (Lisa); grandchildren: James, Carl, Nicole, Joshua and Luke, as well as Danielle, Darren, Ryan, Jeffrey, Travis, Jacob and Troy (deceased); great-grandson, Abel; sisters-in-law: Simonne Racine and Aline Huot; as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family members and a very large circle of friends – including his Conception Bay South Seventh-Day Adventist Church Family. Special thank you to the Doctors, Nurses and Staff at Admiral’s Coast Retirement Home and Pleasantview Towers for their care and compassion, as well as to Dr. Sutton Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue, on Wednesday, September 6, from 7-9pm and on Thursday, September 7, from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. Funeral service will be held from Barrett’s Funeral Chapel on Friday, September 8, 2017 at 2:00pm, with a reception to follow at Barrett’s Reception Centre. Interment will take place at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, flowers gratefully accepted or donations in Arthur’s memory may be made to ADRA International – for the Hurricane Harvey Disaster Relief.
