ANTONIO PEREIRA ANDRADE
It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Antonio Pereira Andrade on October 1, 2017 at the age of 71. Dad passed away peacefully with his loving family at his side.
He is survived by his loving wife Ines of over 45 years; children Cristina (Jorge), David (Michelle), Lisa and Cindy (Pawel); Grandchildren Ethan, Aidan, Elissa, Addison and Jaxon; as well as two brothers Manuel and Jose Morais. Antonio was predeceased by his parents Manuel and Ana Andrade, and brother Antonio Morais.
Dad was born in Santa Maria, Azores, Portugal on March 6, 1946 and moved to Canada in October 1971. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends out at the family cottage in Winnipeg Beach.
A special thank you to the team of nurses and doctors at St. Boniface Hospital who worked hard to keep dad comfortable.
Prayers will be held on Wednesday, October 11 at 8:00 p.m. at Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church, 181 Austin St. N. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, October 12 at 10:00 a.m. also at the church. Interment will follow in Assumption Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, a donation in Antonio’s memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba.
