Peacefully with his loving wife by his side at Hospice Wellington on Sunday, December 18, 2016 in his 84th year. Beloved husband of Iris for 62 wonderful years. Loving father to Lloyd (Tracy) and Keith (Nicola). Proud grandpa of Kyle, Andy, Lisa, Scott, Keira and Leah and great grandpa of Nova. He will be sadly missed by his many nieces, nephews and loved friends. A special thank you to the nurses and doctors at the Guelph General Hospital and to the staff at Hospice Wellington for their compassion and care.
Family and friends are invited to the Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, Dublin Chapel, 252 Dublin Street North, Guelph, where a Celebration of Life will take place on Thursday, December 29, 2016 from 1-4 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to Hospice Wellington would be greatly appreciated by the family.
