Obituary for Anthony Lee Easter
Anthony Lee Easter was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Monday, July 10, 1995 to Caroline Easter.
In his short life, Anthony lived in Winnipeg until he came home to Moose Lake. He attended Rod Martin School and furthered his education in Thompson at Youth Build, as well as the Engaged Learners Program at Egg Lake.
Anthony was a “Jack Of All Trades” and he tried everything from Babysitting, Carpentry (Housing of MCN), Fishing (in Dawson Bay), Guarding at the Police Detachment, Take-Out Sales, Security, Janitor, Sandbagging, Sineeka Rooting, as well as Mining.
Anthony lived in Crossing Bay, Traders Lake and Moose Lake. He loved being around family and friends. Anthony loved to tease but didn’t like to be teased himself. He really knew how to get the girls mad than he’d laugh at them. He was always willing to help in any way he could. He was a very kind and considerate young man. He enjoyed playing cards and games with the kids, quad rides and especially talking on the phone. You would see him with the phone all the time. He made special time for his favorite niece Shayla.
Anthony was very outgoing, so easy to get along with, which is why he had so many friends. He was so full of life and energy. He also had a special girl in his life, Trevina Buck.
Anthony passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, August 30, 2017, at Moose Lake, Manitoba, at the age of 22 years.
Anthony is survived by his uncle John James Easter and auntie Jeanie Easter, whom he looked to as his Mom and Dad; sisters Lacey (Shane) Easter, Eleanor Ballantyne (Frank), Veronica Sinclair (Joey), Elaine Munro (Perley), Janet Knight (Percy); little sisters Tara, Shontelle, Flossy, Michelle, Eleanor, Ashley, Merdina, Jennifer, Candace; brothers Warren Easter (Lawanda), Steven Easter (Tina), Albert Genaille (Karen), Floyd Easter (Salina), John Jr. Mercredi (Miranda), Clayton Mercredi, Clinton Mercredi, Darren Nasekapow (Rosalie), Corey Nasekapow (Daphne), Carl Easter; bros Brendan, Wendal, Derrick “Dee”, Bones, Christopher, Foster; aunties Florence Ducharme, Verna Grey, Marilyn Mercredi (Johnny), Ann Nasekapow (Charlie), Helen Easter; uncles Donald Easter.
