1937-2017
The death occurred, surrounded by her family, at the
Palliative Care Unit of Community Hospital, O’Leary on
Monday, October 30, 2017 of Anne Shirley Phillips, of Mount Royal,
aged 80 years, wife of the late Erland Phillips. Born in
O’Leary on July 13, 1937, daughter of the late Wilfred and
Lilla Edna (MacNeill) MacWilliam.
Loving mother to Vernon (Marlene), Glen (Marilyn), Blair,
Shirley and Allan, mother in law to Marie Phillips. Dear grandmother
to 12 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Anne is also survived
by her sister Jean MacKie, brothers Robert (Evelyn) MacWilliam, and
Ross (Connie) MacWilliam, and sisters in law, Kathleen MacWilliam,
Pansy Phillips, Doris Phillips and Marion Darrach.
Anne was
predeceased by her parents, husband Erland, sons Gerald and Kent and
brother Roy.
Resting at Ferguson Funeral Home and Chapel,
O’Leary with visiting hours on Wednesday from 2-4 &
7-9pm. Funeral will be held on Thursday at 11 am at the
O’Leary United Church. Interment will follow in Mount Royal,
People’s Cemetery.
In memory of Anne, memorials to the O’Leary United
Church or Mount Royal People’s Cemetery would be
appreciated.
Due to severe Allergies, please
refrain from wearing strong scents or ordering flowers with
Lilies.
