Obituary of ANNA TURNER
TURNER, Anna Marie – Peacefully at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Hamilton after a long stay at Shalom Village Long Term Care in Hamilton at the age of 93. Loving mother of Paul Allingham of Burlington, Jane Turner-Cooke of Waterford and stepson Terry Turner of Ottawa. Cherished grandmother of nine: Tara, Kerri and Mark; David and Craig; Jenna and Christopher; Janet and Susanne. Great grandmother of twelve: Katie, Tyson and Grace; Allie and Jessie; Natalie and Adam; Mariella and Drew; Mabel, Jared and Caitlyn. Also survived by sisters Nancy Dodman of Carlisle, Kathy MacKinnon on Musquodoboit Harbour NS, and Mary Bird of Australia. Predeceased by her beloved husband Kenneth, son Peter grandson John, and sister Nancy Powell. A family graveside service was held at Windham Centre Cemetery Friday December 15, 2017. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date in the New Year on a date to be determined. Thank you to both the staff at Shalom Village Long Term Care, Hamilton and Delrose Place, Delhi. In kindness donations may be made to Simcoe and District Humane Society. Funeral arrangements are entrusted with THOMPSON-MOTT FUNERAL HOME, Waterford. .
