Anna Christina Buckland
Anna Christina Buckland, born in Lousana, Alberta, on May 19, 1919. Eldest daughter of Mons and Tilda Froysland, passed away at the age of 98.
Anna was predeceased by her husband Edward Clarence (Doug ) Buckland in 2001. Anna will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
Doug and Anna farmed in the Trencville Area for Thirty nine years, where Anna was very involved and worked very cloely with the love of her life Doug. Anna’s greatest joy was her children and later her grandchildren, great and great, great grandchildren. She was also very much involved in antiquing, music and cooking.
She was a mother of six children Janet (Richard) Schlag of Delburne, AB, Clifford (Jeanne) Buckland of Stony Plain, AB, Barbara (Gordon) Pottruff of Courtney, BC, Gail (Jack) Halpin of Sylvan Lake, AB, Audrey Spady of Red Deer, AB and Debbie (Gary) Leischner of Sylvan Lake, AB, she was the grandmother to 15, great grandmother of 20 and great-great grandmother of 7.
Memorial Service will be held in the Elnora Community Hall on Monday, November 6, 2017 at 1:00p.m. with Reverend Patricia Dyson Officiating.
In Lieu of flowers if desired, tributes may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
