Ann Weinstein (ne Cheroff). It is with great sadness that we said goodbye to Ann on Friday, December 15, 2017. Beloved wife of the late Oscar. Cherished mother and mother-in-law of Donna and Irwin Kuzmarov, Ralph Weinstein, Shelley Joffe and the late Joel Weinstein and the late Livia Singer. Devoted grandmother of Daniel and Francine, Alyssa and Jean-Michel, Jeremy and Ngosa, Jason and Faye, and Deborah. Proud great- grandmother of seven. Loving sister and sister- in-law of Eve and Ben Sevock. Wonderful aunt to Ruthie, Lloyd and Cheryl, Roberta, Richard, and Meryl and Raman. Ann led a caring, productive and creative life; had a continuous love of books, theatre, film, and arts. Ann was an English teacher at Dawson College, and she leaves a legacy of honesty, courage, inspiration, and friendship. Heartfelt gratitude to the wonderful and caring staff and friendly residents at Manoir Westmount, with whom she shared these last five years. Special thanks to CLSC Metro and the Palliative Care Unit at the Mount Sinai Hospital, as well as Drs. Peter Zylbergold and Ryan Fisher for their special care. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Tuesday, December 19 at 1:00 p.m. Burial at Congregation Shaar Hashomayim Cemetery, ch. de la For. Shiva at 5556 Alpine Ave., C.S.L., from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. through Thursday evening.
