It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Sandy Benmore at the Health Sciences Centre on Monday, November 6, 2017 at the age of 72. Predeceased by her parents Bernard and Hazel; sister Mary (Peggy) and Carol Ann. She leaves to mourn her husband William (Bill); 2 daughters Kim (Brian Lee) and Lori (Wince Lee); step children Gail (Gord) Benmore, Edgar (Holly) Benmore, Darlene Benmore and Michelle (John) Manning; 2 of her greatest joys her two grandchildren Jessica (Neil Baker) and Jordan Lee (Rebecca); step grandchildren Steve (Robin), William (Ashley), Heather (Dylan), Jessica, Janel Hancock, Keira Hancock, Greg Hynes and Matthew Hynes; her precious pride and joy, her great granddaughter Alexis Hazel; step great grandchildren Liam, Kaleb, Maddie, Brayden, Brandon, Dylilah, Damian, Asher, Tyler and Cameron; siblings Patrick Vicars (Geraldine), Gertie (John Ennis), Bernie Vicars (Janice), Connie Johnston (Doug), Ronnie Vicars, Ricky Vicars (Susan), Darren Vicars, Michele Penney (Faron) also a large number of nieces, nephews along with a long time friends and co-workers over the years. Special thanks to the staff at the Health Sciences Centre 4NA, St. Clare’s 4West, Dr. Morkar and Jeanine from Dr. Morkar’s team for all their care and compassion. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation on Wednesday from 11 a.m. – 9 p.m. Cremation to follow. Funeral Mass and inurnment will take place at St. Kevin’s, Goulds at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Care Foundation or to the Lung Association.
