PRESTI, Ann Reid (nee Patrick) –
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Ann Presti, at Joseph Brant Hospital in Burlington with her children by her side, on Friday, February 10, 2017 at the age of 73. Predeceased by her loving husband of 52 years Peter (2015). Cherished mother of Pete Presti and Nadalina Presti. Much loved sister of Jean McNeil (John) and dear sister-in-law of Vince Presti (Caterina), the late Luigi Presti (Anna), Teresa D’ Elia (Nick), and the late Carmin Presti (late Miriam). Ann struggled with cancer but with the support of those closest to her, she spent most of her time in good spirits, family and friends were everything to her. Special thanks to two of her closest friends Moira and John McCabe for always being there for her, and to Vicki at Acclaim Health for being so wonderful to both of our parents. Ann’s love for her family and her pets brought her many happy years. She will be deeply missed by her family and rich assortment of friends that came to be a second family to her. Visitation will be held at SMITH’S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line, BURLINGTON, (905-632-3333), on Sunday, February 12, 2017 from 7-9pm and on Monday, February 13, 2017 from 3-5pm and 7-9pm. A Funeral Service will be held at St. Stephen United Church (2258 Parkway Drive, Burlington), on Tuesday, February 14, 2017 at 11:00am. Entombment at Our Lady of Victory Mausoleum, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Burlington to immediately follow the Funeral Service. As an expression of sympathy, donations to The Burlington Humane Society would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
