It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Angela Gross Procska on Thursday, June 29 at the age of 95 at the Grace Dart Extended Care Center in Montreal.
She was born in Czechoslovakia and emigrated to Canada with her parents and brother in 1948.
She is predeceased by her husband Ignaz Procska. She leaves to mourn her three children, Hildegard (Francis Boivin), Walter (Rebecca Chan) and Helga (Larry O’Brien), five grandchildren, Sean (Megan-Brie), Jason, Meaghan (Jonathan), Nickolas and Larissa and her brother Josef Gross and many relatives and friends both in Canada and Europe.
The family will receive condolences on Tuesday July 4, between 2 and 5 and 7 and 9 pm at J.J. Cardinal Funeral Home, 560 Lakeshore Drive, Dorval, Quebec, (514) 631-1511 (www.jjcardinal.ca).
A funeral service will be held at St-Boniface Church, 3760 Hotel-de-Ville, Montreal, Quebec, on Wednesday July 5, at 11 am, thence to Notre-Dame des Neiges Cemetery 4601 Côte-des-Neiges, Montreal, for burial.
The family would like to extend a special thank-you to the doctors, nurses, caregivers and all personnel on CH2 F2 at Grace Dart for their special care and attention.
In lieu of flowers, a donation to Grace Dart Foundation 5155 rue Sainte-Catherine Est, Montreal, Quebec, H1V 2A5 would be appreciated.
