Obituary of Andrew Speed
Speed, Andrew Billy Letson – of Aylmer, gone home to the Lord on Tuesday November 7, 2017, age 35. Born in Chatham on July 3, 1982, to loving parents Terry Speed and Debra (nee Labadie) of Aylmer. Grandson of Mary Louise Speed of Aylmer, Jack and Louise Labadie of Chatham and Pat Rose and friend Clem Mitchell of Chatham.
Nephew of Alan (Beth) Speed of Woodstock, Ann (late Don) Burleigh of London, Pat (Dwight) Rabideau of Charing Cross, Amy Lupa of London, Tim (Tracy) Labadie of Chatham and Kelly (Derek) Bolton of Sarnia.
Drew will also be deeply missed by his seventeen cousins.
Predeceased by his grandfather Bill Speed and cousin Michelle Lupa.
Andrew had a strong faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. He was actively involved in Creekside Community Church in Aylmer and traveled southwestern Ontario with the Derek Drover Band. As a missionary, Andrew made three mission trips to China teaching English and sharing his faith, as well as trips to Vancouver and Atlanta.
Andrew was a proud and dedicated trainer at Northstar Windows and Doors where he worked for eleven years.
Visitation will be held at the McKinlay Funeral Home, 76 Main St. E., Ridgetown, on Sunday November 12, 2017, from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. The Funeral Service for Andrew will be held at the Word of Life Gospel Church, 22 Talbot St. Blenheim, on Monday November 13, at 11am with the Reverend Timothy Joyce as Minister. Burial to follow in the Morpeth Cemetery.
Donations in memory of Andrew may be made to the Creekside Community Church or the Aylmer Food Bank. Online condolences may be left at www.mckinlayfuneralhome.com.
