Andre Henry Sawchyn – 2017

On January 18, 2017, Andre (Henry) Sawchyn of Edmonton passed away at the age of 97 years.
Andre is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Jean; one daughter, Denise Lang; his son-in-law, Barry Lang; two grandsons, Cody Lang, and Joshua Lang (Jillanne); sister, Anne Behnke; and numerous loving nieces and nephews.
Andre (Henry) was born in the Wynyard, SK area. He was one of eleven children. A set of twin girls died at birth and the remaining were six boys and three girls. Predeceased by parents, John and Dora; brothers, John, Nick, Peter, Paul and Ted; sisters, Margaret and Mary.
Divine Liturgy Tuesday, January 24 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Josaphat Ukrainian Catholic Cathedral, 10825 – 97 Street, Edmonton. Cathedral Clergy officiating with interment in St. Michael’s Cemetery.
