1941-2017
Andrea Bennett of Moncton passed away with her loving family
at her side at The Dr. Georges L. Dumont University Hospital on
Sunday, November 26, 2017. Born in Saint John, she was the daughter of
the late William and Mary (Harris) Olsen.
Andrea retired from the Department of National Defense. She
was an avid reader and shopper. A good time with lots of laughs was a
guarantee with her around. She loved her bling bling and always made a
memorable entrance into a room, never shying away from being the
center of attention.
She will be dearly missed by her daughter, Kim Bennett of
Riverview; her son, Rick Bennett (Maureen) of Riverview; sister,
Loretta Diamond (Harold) of Adamscove, NF; brothers, Bernard Olsen
(Dawn) of Saint John and Bill Olsen (Diane) of Kentville, NS; as well
as grandchildren, Hailey Emily and Kayla. Andrea was predeceased by
her son, Kevin Bennett in 1991; husband, Richard in 1994, and a
sister, Mary Bustard.
The family will be receiving relatives and friends at
Cobb’s Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 330 Whitepine Rd.,
Riverview (869-2007) on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 from 1:00
– 3:00pm. The interment will follow in St. John Anglican
Church Cemetery, Oromocto, NB. Donations made to the MS Society or the
Canadian Association for Suicide Prevention would be greatly
appreciated by the family. Condolences may be expressed at
