Andre Pierre Ouimet - March 26

Andre Pierre Ouimet – March 26, 1938 – October 5, 2017

March 26, 1938 – October 5, 2017
Andre passed away at home with his loving wife, Margit, with him. Andre, at age 79, succumbed to a prolonged illness and complications of COPD. He never lost his demeanor, his humour, his smile, or his love for Margit, his dog Molly, his family or friends. Molly was Andre’s dog for 12 wonderful years and Molly passed away the day before Andre. Andre worked at the Leduc Walmart as a greeter, loved his job there and was known as The Singing Greeter. He was adored by many customers.
Andre is survived by Margit, his wife of 13 years; her two daughters Tina Woloschuk and Corina Quinton; three granddaughters Chelsea (Chris) Long, Dallas Woloschuk (Adam Zuk) and Chloe Quinton and her dad Sean Quinton; his sister Huguette (John) Bies of Ontario and their families; and sister-in-law Edna (Sonny) Reynaud. He is also survived by the Lafontaine families of Quebec and Alberta, many nieces and nephews, our best friends Dave and Louise Rohne of Surrey, BC, and many other friends, too many to mention. He was a member of the Calmar and District Seniors Club at 4916 – 50 Avenue in Calmar, AB and that is where the service and luncheon will be held on Saturday, October 14, 2017 at 1:00 p.m.
Forever in our hearts…Bonne nuit, mon amour
