Obituary of Amy Ada “Marie” Johnson
JOHNSON – Amy Ada “Marie”: Passed away into the loving arms of her Savior on Saturday, November 4, 2017 of Simcoe in her 80th year. Daughter of the Late William and Pearl Morris. Much beloved wife of A.J. (Alex) Johnson. Loving mother of James (Bonnie), Sandy (Ralph), David (Frieda), Angela (Gary), David (Kelly), Lee-Anne (Dan), Diane (Rick). Cherished grandmother of 17 and great-grandmother of 18. Also surviving is her brother Ross Morris (Orla), sisters, Alice (Case Vanderechee), Lillian Birdsell, brother-in-law Walter Johnson (Wendy), sister-in-law Barbara West, numerous nieces and nephews. Marie was predeceased by her parents-in-law Harold and Jean Johnson, 9 brothers and 3 sisters. Friends are invited to meet with the family on Wednesday, November 8, 2017 from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 p.m. at THE BALDOCK FUNERAL HOME, 96 Norfolk St. N., Simcoe. A funeral celebrating Marie’s homegoing will be held on Thursday at 11 a.m. from EVERGREEN HEIGHTS CHRISTIAN FELLOWSHIP, 140 Oak St. Simcoe. Pastor Jeff MacLeod officiating.
