In Loving Memory Of
Alysia Katherine Carnie
It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved mother, Alysia Katherine Carnie (nee Christensen), resident of Grande Prairie, Alberta, on Monday, December 11, 2017 at the QEII Hospital, at the young age of 65 years.
Alysia, known to most as Lisa, was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She loved spending time with family, and watching old movies, as well as knitting and crocheting. Lisa spent all of her time here on earth putting others before herself. She had a big heart and shared her love and kindness with anyone and everyone she met.
She will be sadly missed by her children and grandchildren: Randy (Lynn) Christensen and children Daryl, Mace, and Zarina; Theresa (Dion) Adey, and children Kristoffer and Aaron; Brandi (Trevor) Erno, and children Machaela, Kristen, Riley, Kain, and Kadence; and David Whittaker, and children Phoenix and Echo. Lisa will also be fondly missed by great-grandchildren, extended family and many friends.
She was predeceased by her son Daryl, first husband Barry, second husband Gil, and her parents.
Memorial donations may be made to Canadian Cancer Society (200, 325 Manning Road NE, Calgary, AB, T2E 2P5).
