It is with great sadness that
the family of late Alvin Dermont
Loder announce his passing at the Western Memorial
Regional Hospital at the age of 78, on Dec 26, 2016 with his
devoted and loving family by his side. Alvin was a loving husband of
58 years to Maxine, father of daughter: Peggy (Dean), sons: Craig
(Sharon) and Paul (Bunny), grandfather to Robyn, Johnathan, Michael,
Samantha, Jenelle, Kiana & Tara, great-grandfather Ethan and
Ella. Pop dearly loved them all and spoiled them
rotten. He will be missed by sisters:
Barbara and Joan (Earl) and brothers: Jerry (Gloria), Terry (Vivian),
Tony (Dallas), Andy (Karen), Brad (Cindy), and mother in law Violet
Wheeler, Brother’s in law: Sherman (Rosiland), Doug (Patsy),
sister’s in law: Jocelyn and Audrey (Steve), special Aunt
Veda Han, Special Uncle Clifton Loder (Irene) as well as a large
circle of nephews, nieces and friends. He is predeceased by parents
Wesley and Marie Loder, father-in-law Maxwell Wheeler, brothers in law
Brian, Utley and Dave.
As per Alvin’s
wishes cremation has taken place and visitation will be held at St.
Paul’s Anglican Church in Summerside on Wednesday Dec
28th from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm with a
Memorial Service being held on Thursday, Dec
29th at 11 am with Rev. Malcolm
Palmer officiating. Interment to follow the Church
Cemetery.
As expressions of sympathy donations may be made to
St. Paul’s Anglican Church Memorial Fund and/or to the HIS
Fire Dept. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Fillatre’s
