Collette – At the Foyer Assomption in Rogersville, on Thursday April 20th, 2017, at the age of 90, passed away Alma Martin, wife of the late Emile Joseph Martin, formerly of Collette. Born on March 24th, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Doucette and of the late Marguerite Gallant.
She is survived by a daughter, Geraldine, five sons: Kenneth Joseph (Cathy), Joseph Herman, Gerald Joseph, Donald Joseph (Maureen) and George Edward (Claudine) as well as many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nephews, nieces and cousins.
She was the last person alive from her immediate family.
She was predeceased by five sisters and one brother.
The family will be receiving relatives and friends at the Salon ‘La Colombe’ 11325 Hwy 126, Rogersville, on Monday, April 24th, at 2pm. The funeral service will be held at the Saint-Francois-de-Sales RC Church in Rogersville, on Tuesday, April 25th, at 11am.
Visitation hours: Monday, April 24th from 2pm to 4pm and 7pm to 9pm and on Tuesday, April 25th from 9:30am until departure for the funeral service.
A donation can be made to the Foyer Assomption (palliative care unit) in Rogersville.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the professional care of ‘La Colombe’ Cooperative funeral home in Tracadie.
