Obituary for Allan John Wesley Jones
Jones, Allan John Wesley:
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of a great husband, father and grandfather on Saturday, December 23, 2017 at Peterborough Regional Health Centre. Allan, in his 70th year, was the much loved husband of Kathy (nee Demoe) for 51 years. Loving father of Lisa and her husband Darrel Sutcliffe of Keswick and Tammy and her husband Don Forsyth of Crowsnest Pass, Alberta. Proud grampa of Ashley, Cole, Hannah and Holly. Allan is survived by his mother, Elsie Jones and is pre-deceased by his father Eli in 2016. Dear brother of Glen Jones, Deborah and her husband George Welwood, Phillip Jones and his wife Laurie, Brant Jones and his wife Carolyn and uncle to many nieces and nephews. Allan was the brother-in-law of Patricia and her husband Ken O`Reilly, the late Carl Demoe and his wife Nancy, James Demoe and his late wife Jean, Joan and her husband Carl Webster, Ruth and her husband Dave MacMillan and Karen and Gord Fleming. Friends and family are invited to celebrate Allan`s life on the evening of Friday, December 29th at Fenelon Falls United Church, Lower Hall, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and please plan to attend in casual attire. A private family service will take place at JARDINE FUNERAL HOME, CREMATION & TRIBUTE CENTRE, 8 Princes St. W., Fenelon Falls. If desire memorial donations to Women`s Resources, Amy`s Next Step Housing, would be appreciated by the family.
