KELLY, Allan Francis
Age 79, of Bedford, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 16, 2017 with his loving family by his side. Allan was a son of the late Nathan and Vivian Kelly. In his younger years Allan had a great love of drawing and painting. He was a gifted barber for many years and he was so proud to have served the community in this humble capacity. He enjoyed the banter of his customers and always came home with a grin on his face. He will be deeply missed by his loving children, Wendy Slaunwhite (Blair), Allan (Virginia), Christine Kelly-Ladovich, and David (Darlene); cherished grandchildren and great grandchildren; brothers Morton (Madeline), Gordon, Eric (Jean), Russell (Connie), Kenneth (Heather), Donald (Anne); sisters, Patsy Sabean (Dean), Doris Feltmate, Marie Morash (Fred), Alice Horn; many nieces, nephews and extended family. He will be lovingly remembered by Myrtle Kelly. Predeceased by his brothers, Carl, Everett and infant brother Eric; sisters-in-law, Maude and Muriel. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, December 21 at 11 a.m. in the Gate of Heaven Cemetery. For those wishing, donations to the Mental Health Foundation of Nova Scotia would be appreciated.
