MacDonald, Allan David Samuel
Peacefully at Ruddy-Shenkman Hospice on Monday, Nov. 20, 2017 in his 80th year. Beloved husband of Mary Lou (nee Livingstone). Cherished father of Sharon, John, Donna (Charles), Gary (Wendy), Joanne (Steve), and Diane (John). Loving grandfather of Julie, Justin, Amanda, Joshua, Brandan, Bladen, Brighton, Sabrina, Austin, Gregory, Melody, and Isabelle. Dear brother of Joan, Clarence and the late Gertrude. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Thanks to the General Hospital 5th floor Cancer Unit and all of their doctors, nurses and staff. Special thanks to Doctors Westley, Taylor and Panarotto as well as the wonderful staff and volunteers at the Ruddy-Shenkman Hospice for their care and compassion. Friends and family are invited to attend a Celebration of Life at the Royal Canadian Legion, 4026 Old Richmond Road, Nepean on Saturday, December 2 from 1 to 4 p.m. In lieu of flowers, to Hospice Care Ottawa (Ruddy-Shenkman) would be appreciated by the family.
