Alfonso was born on December 8, 1937 in Villa Santa Maria, Chieti Italy. He passed away peacefully on February 10, 2017 at 79 years old at Surrey Memorial Hospital. Alfonso is survived by his loving family, his wife of 57 years Flora, sons Tony and John, daughter Mary, granddaughters Alesia, Sierra, Hannah and Sofia and grandson Marcus and many nephews and nieces in Canada and Italy.
Alfonso was an avid soccer enthusiast and always happy to share a glass of wine and good food with his family watching his favorite team play.
Mass will be held on Thursday, February 23, 2017 at 10am in the Chapel at Ocean View Memorial, 4000 Imperial Street, Burnaby, BC followed by the entombment and reception.
