It is with great sadness that the family of Alexandra
Lanteigne (Haché) announces her passing on September 29,
2017. Born on December 15, 1926, in Maisonnette, NB, she was the
daughter of the late Michel and Suzanne (Frigault) Haché
and the wife of 64 years to the late Edgar Joseph
Lanteigne.
In addition to her parents and late husband, Alexandra was
predeceased by her brothers, Anthime, Fred, Phil, Jim, Delphis,
Adélar, Emile, and Paul. She was also predeceased by two
sisters, Evelyne and Rose
Alexandra will be greatly missed by her sister, Ursule Hobson
(Jim); children, Aimée Lanteigne, Don Lanteigne (Dianne),
John Lanteigne, Elie Lanteigne (Susan), Jeanne Blanchard (Freeman),
and Michel Lanteigne; grandchildren, Troy, Brent, Vanessa, Erika,
Mikey, Natasha, Tony, Myriah, and Christina; great grandchildren,
Jessica, Curtis, Vincent, Stella, Ava, Finn, Allie, Madison, Ashton,
Alexis, Paisley, Mattix, and Nala. Alexandra will also be missed by
her two great-great grandchildren, Cohen and Keenan.
Alexandra was a loving and caring wife, mother, sister,
grandmother, great grandmother, great-great grandmother, and friend
who will be missed by many.
Visitation will be held at the Oromocto Funeral Home on
Monday, October 2, 2017 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Mass of Christian
Burial will be held at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church on Tuesday,
October 3, 2017 at 11 am. Interment will be held at St. Vincent de
Paul Catholic Cemetery following the service with a reception to
follow. For those who wish, donations in Alexandra’s memory
may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to a charity of
one’s choice.
