Alexander Innes

We regret to announce the death of Alexander Innes on December 18, 2016 at Sensenbrenner Hospital at the age of 85 years. Alexander was a family man who loved spending time with his family, his grandchildren, and his favourite little dog, Oreo. In his spare time, he enjoyed trapping, hunting, fishing, and watching the Boston Bruins and the Toronto Blue Jays. Alexander was also a proud member of AA for many years.
He is survived by his wife, Jacqueline; his six children: Diane Joncas of Kapuskasing, Nicole Lachance of Kapuskasing, Jocelyn Nowacki of Kapuskasing, Kathy Innes of Ottawa, Debbie Bliss wife of Pat of Kapuskasing, and Natalie Innes friend of Martin of Ottawa; eight grandchildren: Natalie, Stéphanie, Phillippe, Melanie, Brent, Samantha, Scott, and Shawn; five great-grandchildren: Kiana, Jenna, Hailey, Evy, and Philip; as well as one sister: Jean Morin of Cochrane. He was predeceased by two sons-in-law, Albert Lachance, and Henry Nowacki; seven brothers: William, Samuel, Erik, Donald, James, McKenzie, and Edwin Innis; and two sisters: Helen Louttit, and Kathy Banks.
The funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 22nd at St. Patrick’s at 1:30 p.m. with Father Hervé Sauvé officiating. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated. ©
Nous regrettons de vous annoncer le décès de Alexander Innes le dimanche 18 décembre 2016 à l’Hôpital Sensenbrenner à l’âge de 85 ans. Alexander était un homme de famille qui adorait passer du temps avec ses enfants, ses petits-enfants, et son petit chien favori, Oreo. Comme passe-temps, il aimait être trappeur, faire de la chasse et la pêche, et regarder les partis des Bruins de Boston et les Blue Jays de Toronto. Il était aussi un membre de AA pendant plusieurs années.
Il laisse dans le deuil son épouse, Jacqueline; ses six enfants: Diane Joncas de Kapuskasing, Nicole Lachance de Kapuskasing, Jocelyn Nowacki de Kapuskasing, Kathy Innes d’Ottawa, Debbie Bliss (Pat) de Kapuskasing, et Natalie Innes (Martin) d’Ottawa; huit petits-enfants: Natalie, Stéphanie, Phillippe, Melanie, Brent, Samantha, Scott, et Shawn; cinq arrière-petits-enfants : Kiana, Jenna, Hailey, Evy, et Philip ainsi qu’une soeur: Jean Morin de Cochrane. Il fut précédé par deux beaux-fils, Albert Lachance, et Henry Nowacki; sept frères: William, Samuel, Erik, Donald, James, McKenzie, et Edwin Innis; et deux soeurs: Helen Louttit, et Kathy Banks.
La Célébration Eucharistique aura lieu le jeudi 22 décembre, en l’église St Patrick à 13h30 avec Père Hervé Sauvé comme célébrant. Comme témoignage de sympathie, la famille sera reconnaissante des dons à la Société canadienne du cancer. ©
