Obituary of Aleksandra Baraniuk
BARANIUK, Aleksandra Halina – Peacefully with her loving family at her side Aleksandra passed away on Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at the age of 89. Aleksandra is survived by her son Bernard Baraniuk and spouse Connie Pan, daughter Monika Baraniuk and spouse Bill Freemantle, daughter Viktoria McCrie and spouse Bill McCrie. Grandchildren; Savannah Baraniuk (Owen Barduhn), Candice Locke (Ric Locke), Jennifer Turner (Richard Turner), Page Gowens, and Daniel Young. Great Grandchildren: Jett Locke and Scarlet Locke. She is preceded in death by her son Marek Baraniuk and husband John Baraniuk. The family wishes to extend their sincerest gratitude to all the wonderful people who over the years brought laughter and love into Aleksandra’s life. She has inspired so many of us with her wisdom and grace. From surviving WW II, emigrating to Canada, raising a family and helping others in need. She has led an extraordinary life. The Family would like to thank everyone involved in her, in home, palliative care. The kindness and dedication given the family during her illness. Easing the burden of losing our special, loving, and truly beautiful lady. Cremation has taken place. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Queen of Peace Church on Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at 11a.m. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 519-344-3131.
